Our amazing team culture allows all of our employee’s the greatest chance of a successful career in the building industry -Working on domestic building sites with lots of framing work and the opportunity to work on custom designed homes that will develop and sharpen your skillset. When not completing works on custom new homes, as part of the TDH team you will be required to assist in other aspects of trades such as painting, plastering, concreting, tiling, landscaping and roofing which will provide you with a well rounded understanding of the entire building process.



Tasks & responsibilities

  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

  • Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.

  • Measure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, or rule to lay out work.

  • Manual labour including lifting, carrying, using power tools.

  • Good time management skills, work well within a group, listen to instructions from senior tradesman

  • Have a willingness to learn

  •  

 

To be considered for the role. the successful candidate must:

 

  • Be able to show competent Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Technology/Computer skills.

  • Obtain a Drivers License and Suitable work vehicle such as a Ute.

  • Own Basic Safety Gear - Steep Cap Work Boots. Tool Belt. Safety Glasses.

 

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
